In the 18 months since the collapse of Sheikh Hasina's government, Bangladesh has endured political turmoil but also biting economic pain -- with many hoping for a rebound under new leadership after elections on February 12. FRANCE 24's Mark Owen speaks with Asif Bin Ali, Geopolitical Analyst and Doctoral Fellow at Georgia State University, who says that the electorate is mainly motivated by the desire for stability and the need for reform.
