Donald Trump's health has been the subject of speculation for several months, with the US president sparking concern on several occasions after appearing to display worrying symptoms on television. He has been spotted falling asleep during White House meetings, "slurring his words" during press conferences and seen with bruising on his hands.
Trump has been quick to dismiss any speculation surrounding his declining health, insisting he has "aced" cognitive tests and impressed doctors during CT scans. However, he appeared to fall asleep just yesterday (Thursday, April 23) while hosting a Health Care Affordability event, with cameras capturing the 79-year-old with his eyes closed and his mouth appearing to droop as others delivered their speeches.

A similar incident occurred just days earlier, when the US president hosted a roundtable discussion in Las Vegas focused on the impact of his "no tax on tips" policy.
While Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent delivered his speech, viewers noticed Trump seemingly falling asleep, with one describing him as being "out cold".
Earlier in the month, Dr Vin Gupta, the senior medical analyst for US cable channel MS NOW, claimed Trump is displaying numerous symptoms of dementia.
However, concerns about Trump's health have once again been dismissed, with Dr Mehmet Oz, an adviser to his administration, declaring: "Trump is as healthy as a bull."
