A manhunt is underway after a man was shot dead and four people were injured in four separate shooting incidents on Tuesday, with one of the incidents happening near England's training base in Kansas City. Police are looking for a 22-year-old male suspect following a deadly shooting and crash at around 6.30pm local time yesterday, near Truman Road and Bennington Avenue in Kansas City.

Information from the police said that between 6pm and 6.30pm, officers received reports of four separate shootings across Kansas City, including at the Interstate 670 and Wyoming Street, Interstate 70 and Paseo Boulevard, I-70 and Prospect Avenue, and also Truman Road and Hardesty Avenue. Investigators said cars came under fire and there were four casualties.

Three adults and one teenager were taken to the hospital. The teen was last known to be in stable condition; one adult has life-threatening injuries, and two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Fox2Now reports.

Police also said a man died after being found shot inside a car.

Officers with the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) were called to the scene of a crash around 6.30pm at Truman Road and Bennington Avenue. When they arrived at the scene, they located a car crashed into a pole with significant damage.

A man was found inside the car with life-threatening injuries.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment, where hospital medical personnel located what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

The alleged shooter is still on the run and also has a warrant out for his arrest for aggravated assault with a $100,000 bond.

Prospect Avenue, where one of the incidents allegedly took place, is about 1.5 to 2 miles west of Swope Soccer Village, which is England's base during the World Cup.
