Iran has released a new, chilling video threatening a US military base. The harrowing clip, seemingly AI-generated, was released by Iranian state media and appears to pinpoint the Muwaffaq Salti base, located in Jordan, for obliteration.

The video shows an aerial view of the base with Iranian missiles targeting F-35s stealth jets, Boeing KC-135 refuelling tankers, and MQ-9 Reaper UAVs. U.S. officials recently said they are relocating hundreds of personnel at a major military base in Qatar ahead of a possible strike.

This comes as the two countries continue to carry out negotiations over Tehran's nuclear program, and while Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned his country “will not bow its head”. Meanwhile, the U.S. recently amassed a major military buildup in the Middle East, including aircraft carriers and fighter jets.

Trump has also given a clear indication he is still considering US strikes on Iran as he recently issued a 10-day warning.

If a deal is not reached on nuclear weapons, "bad things" will happen, President Trump said during the first Board of Peace meeting in Washington. He said: "We may have to take it a step further, or we may not. Maybe we’re going to make a deal. You’re going to be finding out over the next probably 10 days." The USS Gerald R Ford aircraft carrier is currently in the Mediterranean Sea, and recently moved other military assets into the Middle East.

This is not the first threat Iran has issued to the U.S. Tehran has already threatened to strike US troops in the Middle East earlier this month, as fears of war between Tehran and Washington grow.

On February 12, Al-Alam news channel, owned by the state-owned media corporation Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, shared a video on X indicating the US military base of Eskan Village in Saudi Arabia as a surveilled target.
